Please note, salary displayed is the salary range for a Lecturer position only.

The Senior Lecturer salary range is £38,460 - £48,677 per annum.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about Adult Nursing and who has the relevant academic skills and specialist in depth clinical experience in critical care /intensive care nursing.

You will be expected to lead specialist modules and teach on our nursing programmes supporting both undergraduate and postgraduate nursing students.

You will be involved in curriculum development, student support and assessment and you will be expected to work collaboratively with clinical colleagues and other stakeholders. You will support both pre and post registration nursing students and mentors in clinical placements in a variety of care settings at local and regional level. There will be the opportunity to be involved in research, external income generation and international activities.

Ideal Candidate

You must be able to deliver a high standard of teaching. Possession of contemporary clinical knowledge in adult critical care /intensive care nursing; health care practice and policy initiatives is essential along with an active NMC registration as an Adult Nurse. You must be able to demonstrate evidence of ongoing professional development and an appropriate teaching qualification is desirable
