Experienced Manager for our Specialist Mental Health/Therapeutic Department

Term Time (39 weeks)

(08:00-16:30, Monday- Friday)

Salary - £40,000

Due to the growth of our Specialist Mental Health/Therapeutic provision, we are currently seeking to employ a progressive mental health practitioner.

We require a dynamic, motivated, pro-active and well organised individual who has the ability and skills to successfully lead the co-ordination and management of our HEART (Health, Education, Assessment & Revitalising Therapy Department) service for children with social, emotional, mental health needs.

Experience of managing an effective team in a mental health setting is essential to ensure that provision and interventions are relevant and current.

All of our learners have ECHPs and as a school we are proud to promote the development of life skills and social development as equal to academic achievement.  West Heath School work towards the end goal of helping students re-integrate into mainstream learning and preparation for adulthood.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a Mental Health Setting
  • Nursing Qualification (RMN) or DipSW

or equivalent
