Spire Wellesley Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chemotherapy Nurse

Spire Wellesley Hospital is a state of the art 33 bedded Hospital with 3 Theatres and an Endoscopy Suit and number of Outpatient Consulting rooms; our cardiology unit including echocardiography stress testing, 24 hour ECG analysis and a host of other services. We are also proud of our Macmillan Quality Environment Mark (MQEM) accredited dedicated cancer centre which provides chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment. We have a Theatre refurbishment planned for early 2019 bringing even greater technology to our services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To provide exemplary planned care for patients and assist in the management and organisation of care provision in Oncology Day Chemotherapy Centre

You will support in assessing patient's health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient's needs. You will actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, collect collate and organise data, interpret all of the information and make a justifiable assessment, making this available to relevant others.

You will also develop a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety and security and infection control, lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practices and plan, allocate, assess and provide feedback to team members.

Who we are looking for:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced oncology registered nurses with relevant competencies in chemotherapy administration, venepuncture and cannulation to join a Chemotherapy Day Care unit that will provide a breadth of experience across the oncology and haematology specialties.
