Salary: GDST Support Staff Pay Grade 5 (£35,193-£47,706 pro rata)
Northwood College for Girls is seeking to appoint an experienced School Nurse; and require a highly motivated, enthusiastic nurse to share responsibility for the health care of all pupils, health education and managing the medical centre.
This is a part-time post working 2 days per week term time only (Thursdays and Fridays) - flexibility with days may be required.
The successful candidate must have a relevant nursing qualification, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with clear empathy and understanding. Experience in an educational environment and with compliance would be desirable.
The Medical Centre is integral to the School community and the School Nurse is expected to pro-actively manage effective health promotion within the community by communicating with pupils, parents, pastoral and academic staff.
