As a Directorate we are passionate about providing high standards of patient care and are looking for people with the same values. We have two hospitals in our Trust; Maidstone Hospital and Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury.
Tunbridge Wells Hospital is the first NHS hospital in England to provide en-suite, mostly single rooms for inpatients, many of which have woodland views. The hospital is seen, nationally, as an example of best practice in the design of patient-safe facilities and has attracted widespread international interest.
Tunbridge Wells provides a range of complex and routine surgical and medical services and is a recognised Trauma Centre with state-of-the art facilities. Tunbridge Wells Hospital is located within a short distance of the nearest, large town centres which offer a range of amenities, including shops, bars and restaurants. It is on the doorstep of some of Kent’s most beautiful countryside – the best of both worlds. There are fantastic travel links which make all parts of the county, country and beyond, easily accessible. The area also houses many high-performing schools, including some of the top private schools in the country.
We are currently looking for dedicated, caring and passionate Staff Nurses to fill a number of exciting roles. We are looking for Staff Nurses who share our vision of providing the best possible care for patients, for each other, and for making our Trust even better.
We have vacancies across all of our specialty medical wards including care of the elderly, gastroenterology, Cardiology, high dependency respiratory wards and acute stroke units. There may be the opportunity to tailor made a rotational programs to support your development within Medicine.
You will require excellent interpersonal skills and need to be motivated to continue your professional development within this supportive team.

You will be expected to attend the Trust’s Induction Programme for RNs, RMs and ODPs (which starts on the first day of employment). The programme is full-time (please contact the programme lead if this is problematic: email@example.com), lasts for two weeks and will involve travelling to both Trust sites. The programme includes supernumerary shifts in the clinical area and classroom-based study days which run from 9am to 5pm.
