We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Operations Manager, who will oversee the management of nursing staff and support worker teams at Les Amis. The role will include the day-to-day management of the Les Amis Complex Need and Dementia Unit, taking care of budget and resource management, as well as setting the clinical standards in the care of residents.

We recognise that moving to Jersey can feel like a big change. So we aim to make it easier with an £8,000 relocation package for nurses. You can take this either as a £3,000 lump sum, with £5,000 for relocation expenses or £8,000 just used for relocation expenses.(N.B to be paid back if the candidate does not complete five years of service)

The Clinical Operations Manager as the Lead Nurse will be responsible for the service and make clinical or managerial decisions about individuals care and needs.

The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of the NMC Code (2015) and will be expected to keep fully up to date in developments within their professional discipline. They should be a 1st Level Registered Nurse with 5 years post qualifying experience, with a Management or Leadership qualification. They will work closely with the Board of Directors and the Planning Team to develop the service, playing a key role in recruitment and retention of staff working in the Unit.

This senior post within our charitable organisation will strengthen the care we already provide to over 150 residents and service users of all ages. The successful candidate will be expected to give advice and guidance to clinical Nurses and Support Workers, making influential clinical decisions.

Our aim is to provide safe, effective and responsible care to our residents and service users.

We are continuing to raise funds for a new Nursing and Complex Care Unit which will home those on the island suffering from dementia. It is estimated that approximately 1600 people are living with a form of dementia in Jersey, with this figure set to double in the next 20 years. Les Amis is working extremely hard to meet the growing need of the Learning Disability Community and will be actively recruiting the best people to their team to succeed in this challenge.
