Respiratory Nurse Band 6
Nobles Hospital would love a self-motivated and enthusiastic full time Registered Nurse (Band 6) with proven clinical skills to join their passionate and dedicated Respiratory Team on the Isle of Man.
About the Role
This is a new post which has been created to assist in developing our Respiratory service in order to meet the needs of the population on the Isle of Man. If you're looking to develop specialist knowledge and skills whilst being a key part of a growing team, we really urge you to consider applying for our post.
We will need you to have had minimum of 3 years post registration experience, which will include working within acute medicine and care of those with chronic respiratory disease, with evidence of an interest in developing further in this particular area.
It's important to us that you are an excellent team player and communicator, and we would like you to demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centred care with a desire to contribute to high quality and innovative service provision and development. You will be responsible for work across Nobles Hospital and community based services, providing unscheduled and scheduled care for patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) and asthma. The role will include liaising with and supporting health and social care teams across the organisation in providing admission avoidance, early and supported discharge, education, delivery of care bundles and supporting home oxygen services where patients require Long Term Oxygen Therapy (LTOT) and ambulatory oxygen.
Please note a police check, a driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential requirements for this post. A uniform will be provided for the successful candidate.

Interview expenses and a relocation package of up to £7,000 based on receipts is available for this role.
This role also qualifies for a recruitment incentive of £3,000 which will be paid in £1,000 instalments spread over two years.
