A superb opportunity to work with an extremely supportive and successful Ambulance Service is available for a dedicated Paramedic who is looking for their next challenge in the South of England.

HCL Permanent welcomes applicants from overseas and to help with relocation you will be provided with a fantastic package up to the value of £3,500. You will also be supported with a full time, 12 week course of comprehensive training on arrival.

As a Paramedic, you will manage a range of situations, from minor wounds and substance misuse to serious injuries from fires and major road, rail and industrial accidents.

Your day-to-day tasks could include:

- Checking a patient's condition to decide what action to take

- Using electric shock equipment (a defibrillator) to resuscitate patients

- Carrying out surgical procedures like inserting a breathing tube

- Giving medicines and injections

- Work closely with doctors and nurses in hospital accident and emergency departments, briefing them as their patient arrives at hospital

- Deal with members of the public and family members present at the scene.

- Dressing wounds and applying supports for broken bones

- Working closely with the police and fire services

- Keeping accurate records and checking equipment

- Provide treatment at the scene for someone seriously injured in a road accident

- Responsible to decide if is necessary to go to the hospital and assess how to move patients and where the best location is for them.

To be considered for this role you must: 

- Be a qualified Paramedic
- Have driving licence category B (C/C1 must be completed before start date)
- Good level of spoken English
- Willing to relocate
