£24,240 per annum | 37.5 hours per week | Various locations across South Essex (including Southend, Billericay and Thurrock)

Are you committed to make a big difference to the lives of our service users? Do you really want to get to know them and support them in a caring home to enjoy all the little things in life that make a big difference?

Estuary Housing Association has a long track record of providing high quality support services in our registered care and nursing homes. We provide personalised, caring support for adults with learning and physical disabilities who require nursing care to support their well-being in our nursing homes.

You will be required to supervise a small team of support assistants to help our service users in their varied daily and social activities. Our service users deserve the best qualified nurses, preferably with experience in similar roles, but a vocational attitude towards supporting adults with disabilities is essential.

A nursing qualification and up-to-date NMC registration are essential; you will also need to be flexible to work a shift pattern which includes early, late, night and weekend/bank holiday shifts.

In return for your hard work and commitment, we offer:

  • Ongoing training and development
  • Peer practice support via our professional nursing group
  • Support with re-registration, including help with fees
  • Small, intimate and ‘Good’ rated nursing homes that really feel like home
  • Excellent staff rewards and development opportunities
  • Opportunities to make a valued contribution to our journey from ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’.
