Barnet Southgate College in North London has an outstanding reputation and Ofsted Grade 1 for this area of work and opened a new Learning Disability Centre of Excellence at Southgate Campus.

You will be part of the multi-agency team leading medical support and interventions for students with complex or additional needs, including the development and implementation of programmes of care, ensuring risk assessments are in place and providing training.

Able to work independently and with good communication skills, you will develop strong links with external providers, provide health clinics, co-ordinate support and training for staff and work with Learner Services on the Healthy College initiative.

An RN with active registration, you will adhere to the Nursing and Midwifery Council code of professional conduct and be conversant with the scope of professional practice, other advisory NMC papers, CQC and Oftsed. Substantial post registration experience should include work with people with learning difficulties/complex disabilities.
