The BMI Runnymede Hospital has an exciting pportunity for a Diagnostic Imaging and Cardiology Manager to lead our team of experienced Imaging and Cardiology staff.

The Imaging Department offers a wide range of diagnostic and interventional examinations, including general X-ray, fluoroscopy, interventional radiology, ultrasound and mammography.

You will be joining an experienced team of specialist staff and will have the opportunity to develop your skills alongside them in a supportive environment.

BMI The Runnymede Hospital is a purpose built 52 bedded private facility offering a full range of surgical and medical services, with the benefit of extensive clinical support services. These facilities combined with the latest in technology and on-site support services, enable our consultants to undertake a wide range of procedures from routine investigations to complex surgery.

The role

As the Department Manager you will provide strong leadership and strategic direction, developing and managing the service delivery and controlling all the resources, while providing a high quality, responsive, patient focused service.

As a member of the Senior Management Team you will contribute to the strategic, operational and business development of the hospital. This role will allow you to actively influence the quality of patient care through various clinical governance frameworks. You will have autonomy within this structure to make changes to care delivery that have a positive effect on patient safety and overall quality of care.

What we’re looking for

To succeed, you will have management or supervisory experience within a multi- modality imaging department with a Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Radiography. You will have the ability to lead, motivate, support and develop your team and be a confident decision maker who can make sound business decisions. Strategic awareness with an ability to understand the commercial perspective of healthcare delivery is also essential for this role.
