HCL Permanent are working with a major NHS Hospital that specialises in Paediatric nursing. We are recruiting experienced Paediatric Cancer staff nurses to join a dynamic and engaging team, and who are committed to providing excellent care to paediatric patients.

Located in Birmingham City Centre my client provides the widest range of children`s health services for young patients in Birmingham, with over 240,000 patient visits every year. The Paediatric Oncology department is led by a team of seven consultants, who are nationally and internationally recognised as leaders in the treatment and research of children`s cancer. Along with a team of passionate nurses, the Paediatric Oncology unit is responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of children with all types of solid or brain cancers, and work closely with our colleagues in Haematology who care for children with cancers of the blood (leukaemia) and blood disorders.

My client is known for providing outstanding care and treatment to all children and young people who choose and need to use their services, and to share and spread new knowledge and practice, so that they are always at the forefront of what is possible, having performed the first Paediatric triple transplant in 1998.

You will be a Paediatric Oncology nurse with 2+ years experience, who is a passionate and motivated individual. You`ll be an empathetic nurse who also has great clinical skills, and can work closely with all members of the team as well as communicating with patients and their families. You will be able to put a smile on the face of every patient you meet.

There is excellent access to the hospital with three train stations within a 15 minute walk, an international airport nearby, and great access to major roads and motorways.

- NMC registered (or process started)
