You’ll join us in The Hill General Practice and Urgent Care Centre. Open 7 days a week, 8am-8pm, providing traditional GP surgery and Walk-In facility.

You’ll quickly become a vital member of our Centre and our managers will treat you as one, welcoming and using your input to continually improve our services. 

Whether you’re inspiring your team by taking a lead role in the provision of palliative care, or ensuring the most scrupulous standards of service are met by all, you’ll be invaluable.

The skills you’ll need as a Lead Nurse

You have the highest clinical standards, proven perceptive leadership skills, and you really care for the people you’re treating. You’re also:

  • An experienced autonomous practitioner, skilled in physical assessment, diagnosis and treatment
  • A recognised Nurse Prescriber 
  • Qualified at degree/post-grad level in a Health related subject
  • Skilled in the teaching and assessing of others, you’ll hold a teaching and assessing qualification
  • Skilled in performance management of clinical staff members and monitoring of clinical KPIs.
  • A qualified autonomous practitioner or equivalent 

In turn, you’ll have time to take full advantage of our training opportunities too, whether you want to diversify your clinical skills or move into management.
