Starting salary: Grade 9 £47,787

An exciting opportunity to join our small team providing postgraduate credit bearing courses and CPD leadership and management training tailored largely for the clinical environment.

You will assist with the marketing, design and delivery of all clinical management and leadership programmes offered by the School and be fully involved in course development, expansion and teaching. You will contribute to the development, delivery and sustainability of postgraduate medicine generally, becoming involved in other departmental tasks such as student mentoring, assessment marking and supervision, and quality assurance.

You will have a bachelors degree or nursing qualification, plus a higher degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject eg: policy, management, medicine. You must have a strong, recent track record in developing clinical leaders; experience in designing development programmes; recent experience of CPD delivery; up-to-date knowledge of the NHS, and experience of working at a senior level in the NHS.  Essential skills for the post include excellent interpersonal and teamworking skills, good IT skills, and excellent teaching/training skills applicable across a broad range of adult learners.
