PULSE is delighted to be working alongside a prestigious private healthcare organisation that has 275 sites across the UK.

We are recruiting an RMN to work in one of their private hospitals in the North West that specialises in complex mental health services for adults and adolescents. The adult service includes an Acute Mental Health unit, a female Borderline Personality Disorder unit, an Eating Disorder unit, Rehabilitation and Recovery units and two PICU’s. There is also an adolescent’s service that comprises of three wards.

We are looking for a RMN to work in the adult female Borderline Personality Disorder Unit. This is a locked door unit that is intended to support the women who have Personality Disorders to achieve a more positive life. You will be using holistic care to enable the women to plan a healthy future, while addressing all aspects that are impacting on their lives. The patients will be engaged in a 12-month recovery focussed programme with Dialectical Behavioural Therapy. You will undertake group sessions and fully participate in their assessment, planning and evaluation of their care needs.

The successful candidates will have:

  • A minimum of 6 months post qualification experience
  • Experience in Personality Disorders
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to oversee work of junior colleagues and staff
  • The Ability to undertake and manage direct patient care.
