Team Leader - Outreach - Learning Disabilities
Salary: £18,500 to £23,000
Location: Cheadle

The Role;
As the Team Leader for the outreach support services located within Cheadle, Manchester, you will be responsible for assisting up to eight individuals to develop new and build on pre existing skills to help maintain their tenancies while ensuring inclusion within their local and wider community. As the Team Leader you will over see the provision of a range of social, emotional, educational, physical & spiritual life skill experiences of the people who have Learning Disabilities. The Team Leader will also work with other professionals and external agencies to assess the needs of the people supported. You will write, implement, review and support others to follow behavioural support plans.

The Person;
As the Team Leader you will have previous supervisory experience and hold a full UK driving license. A Social Care, Education, Psychology or Education to degree level or at least 2 years' experience in this field is essential. It is crucial that the Team Leader has at least 12 months experience of working with individuals with challenging and complex behaviour, particularly individuals with Autism and Learning Disabilities.

The company look after people with an array of disabilities and operates an Outreach Support Service, Domiciliary Care and Residential Care along with a Transition Service across Manchester & has recently moved into Stockport & Cheshire. It supports over 40 people with a spectrum of needs.
