About the Role
We are recruiting for Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANP) and Nurse Practitioners (NP) with Prescribing to join one of our teams in the South East.

In particular, we are looking for ANP's to join us at one of three out of hours services; Surrey, Colchester or Suffolk. Each service has a number of locations that you can work from, further details are outlined below.

Colchester

  • North Colchester PCC, North Colchester Healthcare Centre, Colchester
  • Clacton PCC, Clacton & District Hospital, Clacton-on-Sea

Suffolk

  • Bury PCC, West Suffolk Hospital, Bury St. Edmunds
  • Haverhill PCC, Havehill Health Clinic, Haverhill
  • Mildenhall PCC, Mildenhall Health Centre, Mildenhall
  • Eye PCC, Hartismere Hospital, Eye
  • Sudbury Community Health Centre, Sudbury
  • Ipswich PCC, Ipswich Hospital, Ipswich
  • Saxmundham
  • Stowmarket Health Centre, Stowmarket

Surrey

  • Ashford PCC, Ashford Hospital, Ashford
  • Cranleigh PCC, Craneligh Village Hospital, Cranleigh
  • Dorking PCC, Medwyn Surgery, Dorking

All of our sites are open from 6.30pm – 8am Mon – Friday and 24 hours over weekends or bank holidays. Working in an Out of Hours environment is both challenging and rewarding; it would suit an ANP/NP who has a flexible can-do approach and patient centric mind set.

Key Responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for delivering face-to-face and telephone services enabling patients to obtain health advice from the appropriate health care professional. 

You will hold a Nurse Prescribing certificate and be competent to prescribe for patients and be responsible for providing an excellent standard of patient care and health promotion to the general public accessing urgent care services.

Qualifications and Experience
You will be:

  • A qualified RN
  • A recognised Nurse prescriber
  • Skilled in triage and minor illness
