About Surrey OOH
We are recruiting for permanent Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANP) and Nurse Practitioners (NP) with Prescribing to join our team working for the OOH service in Surrey on a full or part time basis.

The Surrey Out of Hours Service provides advice, information and treatment for NHS Patients who become unwell during the out-of-hours period when their own GP Surgery is closed. 

Surrey OOH operates from a number of locations throughout Surrey with their main base being located in Dorking. At the moment we are ideally looking for ANPs / NPs who are able to work in Guildford or Woking, however if you think one of the locations below would be closer to you please apply for the role as we are recruiting at all of our sites.

All of our sites are open from 6.30pm – 8am Mon – Friday and 24 hours over weekends or bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for delivering face-to-face and telephone services enabling patients to obtain health advice from the appropriate health care professional.

You will hold a Nurse Prescribing certificate and be competent to prescribe for patients and be responsible for providing an excellent standard of patient care and health promotion to the general public accessing urgent care services.

You will have the highest clinical standards, and you really care for the people you’re treating...

Qualifications and Experience
You will be:
A qualified RN
A recognised Nurse prescriber
Skilled in triage and minor illness
In turn, you’ll have time to take full advantage of our training opportunities too, whether you want to diversify your clinical skills or move into management.

Additional Information
This is a permanent role and we have full or part time positions available. Full time is 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis. Dependent on experience and shifts worked the salary for this role is circa £35 p/hour.
