My client is currently looking to recruit a full time RGN in Outpatients on a full time basis.

My client is looking to recruit an experienced Nurse to work within a multidisciplinary team to provider high standards of effective clinical care for our wide range of Outpatients. You will support our expert consultants while they carry out Outpatient consultations and minor procedures. Meanwhile you will monitor and maintain a safe, clean and therapeutic environment for patients, staff and visitors. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records. You will be required to work for one day per week in the pre-assessment department.
o Assess patients' health and well being across a complex and changing caseload.
o Assist in the delivery of care to meet individuals' health and wellbeing needs
o Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.

o Assist in maintaining and developing services.

o Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own
o responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI.
o Discuss, agree and explain responsibilities for assessment of patients including their needs and risks if any.
o Explain role, responsibilities, accountability and scope of practice for the assessment of a group of patients.
o Promote patients' rights and wishes during the assessment, gain consent.
o Identify peoples health needs through observation discussion and the use of technical
o Obtain information on patients' needs within the overall context of their personal and care
o Collect collate and organise data interpret all of the information and make a justifiable
assessment, make this available to relevant others.
o Identify the implication of assessment against the programme of care.
o Transfer and apply skills and knowledge to new needs and issues.
o Identify and report any significant changes that might affect the individual's health and well
being to the appropriate person, if outside your scope of practice.
Qualifications, Training, Experience and Technical Ability:
o Registered Nurse
o Working in teams
o Work with minimum supervision
o Competence across a range of nursing skills supported by professional and clinical
o Posses the mandatory training requirements for role including infection control and health
and safety competencies.
o Demonstrate principles of accountable practice
o English language to IELTS 7.0
o Caring for others

o Working towards a post registration qualification in a clinical specialism
