At Spire Healthcare, we provide the highest standards of healthcare, from the moment our patient gets in touch with us until after treatment has been completed. With over 30 years’ experience, we’re proud of our dedicated and highly trained team, which consistently achieves excellent results. What sets us apart is our people, from the very best medical professionals to attentive and highly experienced support staff. Talented people like you.
Join our brand new hospital in Nottingham, and you will be in at the beginning of a committed team striving for excellence. An ambitious nursing professional, you will lead and develop the delivery of high quality planned care for cancer patients undergoing systemic anti-cancer therapies (SACT). Alongside providing hands-on care to patients and clinical leadership to the Oncology team, you will deliver specialist education and undertake research and audit in the field of cancer care. You’ll also play a key role in developing and improving our cancer services.
A registered nurse, you will bring recognised qualification in the delivery of SACT and you’ll have or be working towards a recognised qualification in independent prescribing. An MSc in oncology practice would be highly desirable. A proven track record of oncology or chemotherapy nursing, ideally within a day case chemotherapy environment, will be essential. Your strong nursing, leadership and management skills will be matched by a passion for delivering excellent care. Articulate and adaptable, resilient and empathetic, you’ll put patients at the heart of everything you do.
If you’re keen to treat people, rather than patients, we need you on our team.
