This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, adaptable Registered Nurse to join Barchester’s dynamic Peripatetic Team to work across a range of our nursing and residential homes.

This role will appeal to a nurse used to working in a bank role, as you would be required to work, and occasionally stay, in various locations within your region.

This position has all the advantages of a bank role with the added support and familiarity of working within a Barchester home and being a valuable member of the team.

At Barchester we guarantee our Registered Nurses clinical autonomy.  Under the direction of the Deputy Manager/senior clinical staff you will be responsible for the delivery of the very best in holistic nursing care to the people we support, and for directing and supervising a care team to achieve the all-round highest standards.

As you would be expected to move between a range of Barchester homes and need to be available to cover shifts at short notice, you can expect an enhanced rate of pay.

You would also be eligible for a range of benefits which includes; savings at restaurants and theme parks, childcare vouchers, holiday and travel discounts, vehicle benefits such as breakdown cover, discounted gym membership and savings of up to 10% in high-street stores.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and acquire qualifications through the Barchester Business School; several of our most senior Directors started their Barchester careers as registered nurses.  Our Business School is made up of a number of dedicated academies and has won a variety of awards, contributing to Barchester being consistently voted one of ‘Britain’s Top Employers’.

You will need to be a qualified Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a current NMC* registration.
A UK driving licence is essential for this role.
