If you are a registered nurse with substantial nursing experience in oncology, palliative care or haemato-oncology - then Macmillan Cancer Support needs your expertise to help more people affected by cancer.

Our Cancer Information Nurse Specialists on the Macmillan Support Line talk to people every day to help them understand their cancer diagnosis, treatments, side effects, and how to cope during and after cancer. People affected by cancer tell us that having the information and support they need makes a world of difference to them.

We offer the opportunity to further your in-depth knowledge and experience in an environment where you will become an expert in providing specialist information to people affected by cancer. We will help you develop your skills in this multi-channel environment and gain valuable experience from a different perspective. In addition to helping those using our service, you will be a key resource for colleagues who will draw on your background to ensure Macmillan is able to better meet the needs of people affected by cancer.

You will have a sound clinical knowledge of cancer and its treatment and enjoy working as part of a team while having the ability to work independently and resourcefully. If you also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, are comfortable working in a digital environment, and share our values, then you are just the person we are looking for. This is your chance to help us achieve our ambition to reach and support everyone affected by cancer in the UK.

In return for the commitment and skills you bring to our established, supportive and high-performing nurse team, we commit to actively developing you in the role. We offer excellent benefits including BUPA, life assurance, pension, childcare vouchers, generous annual leave, and interest-free loans for season ticket and gym membership.

We recommend an informal visit before interview so we can show you the service we provide and answer any questions about the role. To arrange an informal visit, or if you have any questions, please contact one of our Senior Nurses via email.

We currently have 6 full-time posts available and are recruiting to our 3 locations in London Vauxhall; Glasgow City Centre; and Shipley, West Yorkshire. Our Shipley office is on the waterfront close to the Saltaire World Heritage Site - Salts Mill - 10 minutes by train from Leeds City Centre.

To apply, please visit our website.

Interviews will be held the week commencing the 3rd October.
