The Vacancy -
My client is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to undertake the lead role as the infection prevention and control nurse acting as a clinical expert within Oxford's Health Hospital, for up to 1 year, fixed term contract.

This role will involve disseminating specialist skills and knowledge to all staff groups, patients and other stakeholders and leading on education, surveillance and audit of infection prevention and control practices across the hospital.

The successful candidate will also contribute to identifying and advising on reducing the risk of infection through providing specialist advice on all aspects of infection prevention and control.

Successful candidates will have the ENB 329 / Diploma or BSc in Infection Prevention, a recognised teaching and assessing course and relevant and demonstrable experience of working within a similar role. They will look for evidence of experience in governance, audit and quality assurance.

This is an exciting opportunity to be able to focus on an important area of the business - the safety and wellbeing of our patients, consultants and staff through the effective and safe implementation of our infection prevention policies.

You'll be customer focused and will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills as well as strong organisational skills. With the ability to influence, you'll have excellent attention to detail and will be capable of managing a wide range of activities and changing priorities.

This role is a fixed term Maternity Cover up to one year in addition to this exciting opportunity; My client can offer you a competitive salary.
