Position: Recovery Nurse - Theatres - Birmingham
Ref - DBRECNURRAM
Salary - Dependant on qualifications and experience
Hours - Full Time 37.5hours

Pulse is currently working alongside the UK's leading private healthcare organisations that are looking to recruit an exciting opportunity for an experienced Recovery Nurse to join their committed Theatre team in Birmingham.

Our clients Theatre department is extremely busy, working with Consultants from a wide range of clinical disciplines. You will have the opportunity to broaden your nursing experience by managing a stimulating case mix which includes the following:

  • Orthopaedics
  • General surgery
  • ENT
  • Gynaecology
  • Urology
  • Cosmetic procedures
  • Ophthalmology
  • Gastroenterology
  • Respiratory
  • Cardiac

Renal

As a Recovery Nurse you are required to:

  • Current Recovery experience
  • Current registration with the NMC (UK)
  • Comprehensive understanding of relevant clinical standards
  • Excellent communication skills - written and oral
  • Excellent customer care skills
  • A good standard of computer literacy
  • The ability to work within a team
  • The ability to time-manage
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Willingness to be flexible during periods of low activity and work extra hours where required
  • Ability to work shift patterns including days, weekends, bank holidays and on-calls
