In 2013 Ramsay Health Care integrated its Wellbeing Service. The in-house service will continue to develop and evolve over the next few years and will underpin Ramsay Health Care’s commitment to the health and wellbeing of its employees.
To this end, we are seeking to appoint a Qualified Occupational Health Nurse with experience in leading occupational health services for a health care or hospital group. The successful applicant will be a suitably qualified Occupational Health Nurse preferably to degree level and must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
The Company Occupational health nurse will work within the wellbeing team and manage and lead a complex and demanding caseload duties will include but not limited to managing, and reviewing Pre Placement Questionnaires, on-going health screening/surveillance, implementing immunisation programmes, maintaining subsidiary nursing staff competencies, advising and implementing occupational health policies including auditing Occupational Health processes.
The candidate will posses well developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels with excellent facilitation skills. Good computer skills (particularly MS Office Package) are also required.
Travel may be required to the various facilities throughout Ramsay Health Care in England and therefore flexibility and a full driving license is essential.
