Here, in the stunning environs of Dumfries and Galloway, you’ll fi nd the
locality of Wigtownshire to be more than just a beautiful place to live. It’s an
inspiring one, too. For you will discover streams and summits, and forests
and beaches, all of which set the scene for a healthy, active lifestyle.
Though rural, and wonderfully so, Wigtownshire is only a two-hour
drive away from Glasgow and a mere three to Edinburgh. With
a rich and creative history, it plays host to Scotland’s National Book
town and is home to Scotland’s premier botanical gardens (which,
incredibly, means you’ll fi nd palm trees on our beaches…). And yet,
the price of an average family house is only £100k.
So whether your interests lie in outdoor pursuits, or in socialising and
entertainment, or in creativity and the arts, you’ll have every opportunity
to achieve the ideal work/life balance.
£39,632 - £47,559 • Stranraer• Ref: N305.14
