Our Chief Nurse Suzanne Rankin is setting a fantastic example for the Nursing profession in the Trust and the NHS, as she has earned promotion to replace our Chief Executive who leaves in August.
It’s a great story for nursing but it does mean that we are seeking an equally dynamic and high-achieving successor to Suzanne who will drive forward the implementation of our Nursing Strategy – Together we Care, deliver excellent standards of patient care and safety and be a role model to our nurses and midwives.
You will provide strategic leadership to the Trust’s acute and specialist clinical services and will lead on quality and risk management.
As an Executive Director you will provide value based professional leadership for our 1300-strong talented nursing workforce and will ensure that our nursing and midwifery practice is of the highest possible standard.
This is an exciting time for the Trust as we have recently announced our plans for a collaborative merger with our neighbouring Foundation Trust the Royal Surrey County Hospital to create a strong and sustainable Foundation Trust in the heart of Surrey that is ambitious for the care it provides for people across Surrey. Both organisations provide high quality care and the merger will help us continue to improve with an emphasis on 7 day working, investing in technology to improve care, integrating care locally and building on our portfolio of specialist services.
We welcome formal applications as well as informal and confidential enquiries.
