An excellent NHS Trust in Worcestershire is looking to hire 10 enthusiastic surgical nurses to work as Band 5 Staff Nurses in two main acute hospitals located close to Birmingham and Gloucester. This is a fantastic opportunity for nurses who prefer calmer places but would like to remain very close to a major urban hub such as Birmingham. This Acute Trust manages a few acute and community hospitals, including 2 major acute hospitals (500 and 360 beds respectively) located 40 minutes from Birmingham. The Trust provides a wide range of services to the local population of over 500,000 people. Every year they perform around 90,000 operations and have 130,000 A&E admissions. The surgical specialities covered by the Trust include Trauma, Orthopaedics, Emergency and Elective Surgery, Gynaecology and Urology. If you're looking for the buzz of working in a busy hospital setting but at the same would appreciate plenty of clinical support, this is the role for you. You must have a minimum of 6 months of surgical experience, valid NMC registration (or be at least in process with the NMC) and - in case English is not your mother tongue - you should have at least an upper intermediate level (B2) of spoken and written English.
