Lecturers in Nursing – Adult and Mental Health
The School of Health and Human Sciences is seeking to appoint four Lecturers in Nursing. The successful applicants will join a dynamic and enthusiastic team supporting pre-registration nursing programmes basedprimarily at either Colchester or Southend Campus.
The successful applicants will need to demonstrate the ability to lead and teach modules, assess and supervise students, develop clinical skills training andfurther develop close links with local health organisations. Candidates must have current registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council,ideally with a registered teaching award. Expertise in a specified field of mental health/adult nursing is required. Posts are subject to a DBS check. Travel within Essex will be required. Part-time working will be considered.
The School of Health and Human Sciences is proud to be the top performing education establishment in the East of England. The pre-registration courses received a RAG rating of ‘green’ across the board by the largest commissioner of health education in the region, and we are the only provider in the region to receive a score of 100 (the highest ranking possible) for three of our programmes.
Salary: £30,728-£45,053 in the range per annum (pro rata for part-time)
