Sir George Alberti Research Training Fellowships
Diabetes UK, the leading charity for people with diabetes in the UK, invites applications for Sir George Alberti Research Training Fellowships. These Fellowships enable healthcare professionals to work towards a PhD or MD and develop a career in diabetes research.
Support may be requested for up to three years and may include the applicant’s salary, PhD fees, and support for materials and consumables.
Applications are invited from individuals working in a patient-facing role, including, but not limited to, doctors, nurses, midwives, psychologists and dietitians. - Quality and relevance of proposal
- Applicant’s track record
- Potential of applicant to pursue a research career which makes a difference for people with diabetes
- Quality of research environment and support
Short listed candidates will be interviewed in March 2015.
