Overseas research Study presents exciting and interesting challenge!

Hays Healthcare are seeking a band 6 level equivalent senior training and monitoring nurse, for the Qatar Biobank research study.

Qatar Biobank is an important health research project, to understand how to improve the health for the future generations of the Qatari population. The study recruits volunteers from a cross section of the population, gains informed consent, and collects health data, samples and other information from the volunteers.

A Senior Training and Monitoring nurse is required to oversee the day to day training and monitoring of the Qatar pilot clinical facility. The study runs Monday to Friday inclusive and the senior nurse will also need to integrate with and support the clinical team already in place.

This position is a pivotal central role in the operation of the Qatari Biobank Study. The nurse needs to be able to demonstrate sound departmental clinical training and monitoring experience. Be a positive and proactive clinical trainer, have excellent IT and interpersonal skills and be able to communicate the and manage the training and monitoring piece across the study staff cohort.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Ensure that complete and accurate data is collected on all participants and ensuring an optimal participant experience. Assist in the preparation study related materials (such as clinic SOPs, training manuals) required for the various pilot phases. Ongoing monitoring of the clinic facility by both direct observation and analysis of prepared monitoring reports to ensure the above. Support the identification, selection and training of all clinic staff. Provide ongoing training, support and mentorship to the clinic team.

The nurse will need to be able to travel to Qatar for long periods of time to be determined. Travel and Accommodation expenses will be provided.
