Training to be the best

Training and clinical development is an essential part of being an Army Nurse. You’ll be encouraged to further your clinical knowledge after qualification with full- and part-time courses. Emergency Nursing, Intensive Care Nursing, Trauma Orthopaedic, Sexual Health, Perioperative Nursing and Advance Nursing Practitioner are just some of the courses on offer to you.

Your first step towards being an Army Nurse will be to complete your Phase 1 training. A 14-week period of basic military instruction designed to equip you for living and working in the field. It will also help develop your leadership skills and build your fitness.

With every job in the Army comes a lifestyle unlike any other. It’s full of opportunities and can be as rewarding as you want it to be. We pay you a competitive salary. You can learn new skills, enjoy an unbeatable team spirit and play almost any sport and adventurous training you care to choose.
