BMI ROSS HALL hospital in GLASGOW has a vacancy for an OESOPHAGEAL NURSE SPECIALIST to join their team of staff within the NURSING Department.

This post is being offered on a bank basis.  Candidates will be required to work on an as and when required basis and will cover periods of absence and holidays for current staff members.

It is essential that applicants have:

  • Experience within a hospital setting at Nurse Specialist leve.
  • ENB GI Physiology Certificate
  • BSc in Nursing Studies
  • Awareness of NMC code of Accountability
  • Current registration with NMC

Duties of this role include:

  • To plan and implement nursing care of individual patients attending for oesophageal diagnostic tests.

  • To provide support and guidance related to the specialty to colleagues.

  • To ensure that department and hospital operational polices are maintained and complied with.

  • To participate in a programme of Quality Assurance as directed by senior staff.
