Job Description The post holder`s main responsibility will be to assess, plan, deliver and implement a high standard of nursing care, ensuring that the individual needs of the patient are responded to. The position will require effectively working within the team, supervising junior staff and deputising for senior staff when necessary, as well as independently. This is a full time position, 37.5 hours per week. Main Duties -To demonstrate good clinical practice at all times -Assess, plan and deliver care to meet patient and family needs -Undertake extended roles such as IV cannulation, phlebotomy -Contribute to research based care and other practice development initiatives -To deputise for senior staff in their absence, demonstrating leadership and management -Ensure all patient charges are captured -To be able to record and interpret 12 lead ECG, Femoral sheath removal, good assessment skills and cannulation Skills & Experience - RGN, NMC registered with PIN - ILS, Phlebotomy, venapunture, Cardiac Course - Experience of post registration experience in the field of Interventional Cardiology / CCU - Experience in Interventional Cardiology - Good Computer skills - Confident communicator with high levels of written and spoken English The Individual The successful candidate will be adaptable and able to meet changing working patterns and caseload, working independently as well as within the team.
