Mental Health Nurse
£17.36 - £23.68 per hour
HCL Nursing are currently working with several hospitals in Central London in order to recruit a Registered Mental Health Nurse to work within the hospitals.
As you will be based in Central London, you will come across a diverse group of patients who suffer from some kind of mental health illness. Therefore it is important that you are able to empathise with the people you are dealing with and show warmth and care about them. Regrettably there is still some stigma attached to mental illness. Combating this and helping the individuals and their families deal with it is a key part of the job. This is a brilliant opportunity which allows you to contribute to the well being of patients by exercising your clinical expertise.
As a Mental Health nurse you will be working with adults within mental health wards, providing support to ward staff as well assessing, implementing and evaluating care plans. Other duties include taking responsibility for accurate documentation and reporting to other members of the team such as general practitioners, psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, arts therapists and healthcare assistants.
- NMC Registered
- Minimum of 6 months hospital experience within the last 6 months
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
