Director of Nursing, Midwifery and Operations
Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust is – by any measure – an extraordinary organisation. We’re the leading provider of women’s health services in the North West. We’re the largest women’s hospital in Europe. We’re at the forefront of research into reproductive health, the first hospital in Europe to offer breakthrough techniques such as EEVA. We’re an increasingly strong and influential voice for wider women’s health issues nationally and internationally. Our work, whether routine or ground-breaking, is truly life-changing; the benefits of a healthy start to life will last a lifetime.
The appointment of our new Executive Director of Nursing, Midwifery and Operations comes at an exciting time in our evolution and in a changing and challenging NHS landscape.
This is a unique opportunity to join a successful and committed Executive team and provide professional leadership to our dedicated Nurses, Midwives and Allied Health Professionals; raising their profile nationally and internationally. In a role with a broad corporate remit, you will also ensure continual improvement in the operational performance of our core services and new ventures.
We are seeking an inspirational, courageous and visionary leader who is operating at or near Board level. You will be focussed on the provision of high quality patient and family centred services, be prepared to think differently and possess the ability to engage staff throughout the organisation to create a truly inclusive environment.
Most importantly you will share our values of delivering compassionate care we can be proud of and your ambition and enthusiasm will help us to achieve our vision to be the recognised leader in healthcare for women, babies and their families.
