PUBLIC HEALTH VASCULAR NURSE

Location: 2 Hadlow Road, Sidcup

A Public Health Vascular Nurse is sought to work closely with the Health Improvement Team to supervise and support the on-going development and delivery of the Vascular Prevention Programme and Public Health initiatives in Bexley health economy

The NHS Health Check Programme in Bexley has recently been reviewed and additional investment has been secured to develop the programme. As the Public Health Vascular Nurse you will work closely with the Health Improvement Team and play a key role in developing the programme with GPs in Bexley

You will also work closely with the Public Health Vascular Team in our neighbouring borough of Bromley who will also provide appropriate clinical supervision 

We are looking for someone who has 

  • Proven post registration nursing experience
  • Sound knowledge of NSF guidelines and latest developments in CHD innovation
  • Evidence of ability to conduct audit and utilise findings to improve care management
  • Excellent patient assessment and management skills
  • The ability to take initiative and progress areas of work
