Job Summary       
We are currently looking to appoint a motivated, recovery focussed Clinical Nurse Lead to join our brand new facility opening in Crawley Road, Horsham in Spring 2014! Our brand-new service is due to open in April, and will provide innovative recovery- based treatment for people with severe and enduring mental health problems. The state of the art building comprises of an 8 bed intensive rehabilitation unit and 16 individual bungalows built to the highest standards providing clients and staff with the very best living and working environment. Our service philosophy places the service user at the centre of what we do; recognising that everyone’s journey is unique, therefore service users will take an active part in planning and reviewing their own recovery. The Clinical Nurse Lead will provide leadership for the nursing and care staff as well as support the development and delivery of consistently high quality clinical and care services for service users with complex health and social care needs.

Key Responsibilities       
• Monitor delivery of Recovery focused interventions which include the provision of Recovery based activity and the exploration of Education and Employment opportunities ensuring high standards are maintained. • Provide leadership and support for clinical and care staff and act as a champion for residents safety and dignity. • To maintain skills and knowledge and ensure that care is delivered according to latest guidelines and best practice evidence available. • Develop monitoring and reporting systems which promote the delivery of safe, effective and high quality services. • Ensure that clear and accurate records and communication systems relating to clinical and care delivery are maintained and effectively used by staff. • Act as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice.       
Skills & Experience       
• Extensive experience of care delivery within the Care Unit environment • Experience of managing staff • Experience in meeting regulatory requirements • Knowledge of evidence based practice and audit techniques • Excellent organisational and leadership skills • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal • Good analytical and judgement skills • Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines • Ability to maintain and enhance effective working relationships • Ability to contribute to, monitor and implement changes and improvements to services • Able to set and audit standards • Ability to plan allocate and evaluate own work • IT literate       
• NMC Registered Nurse • Evidence of personal and professional development • Degree or post graduate diploma (desirable)
