Registered General Nurse (RGN)
Care UK’s GM CATS are mobile clinics which rotate between seven sites around Greater Manchester, typically spending four or five days at each site before moving on overnight.
An autonomous RGN, you’ll have a flexible can-do approach. Vital to the CATS success, you'll be running nurse led clinics, assessing patients and carrying out relevant tests. Arranging follow-up, offering advice and supporting the multi-disciplinary team by ensuring that the standards and delivery of nursing care are of a consistently high standard.
Shift Patterns will be: 0730-2030, 0730-1530 or 1230-2030.
A perceptive Nurse, you’ll review patient history of follow up attendees, undertake appropriate examination and tests, and organise treatment where necessary. With an empathetic nature, you’ll provide patients and their families with updates regarding their condition.
Methodically maintaining records, documenting tests and treatment, and follow-up in patient notes and on the database.
You’ll quickly become a vital member of our CATS team and our managers will treat you as one, using your input to continually improve our services.
Whether you’re carrying out, developing and supporting as required, nurse led clinics; referring patients to other health care professionals or agencies where appropriate or adhering to infection control policies, you’ll be invaluable.
