We are looking for RGN’s and RMN’s to join our progressive team at Greville House and to play an active part in the opening of a brand new dementia unit.

The Home

Greville House in Richmond is a welcoming care home which provides personalised nursing, residential and respite care for older people.

We also provide intermediate care for individuals who require additional support before returning home after a stay in hospital.

Our highly trained team gets to know each resident as an individual to give them the tools to live the most fulfilling life they can.

59 en-suite rooms with state of the art Dementia unit about to open and boasting a quiet room, a hairdressing salon and a garden room.

Our experienced and friendly nursing team respects residents’ individuality and dignity at all times.

Greville House, Richmond is based in a great location, close to good public transport links and just a few minutes away walk away from Richmond Park and the River Thames.

The Role

You will be a qualified and experienced nurse (RGN / RMN) who has a proven track record

You will provide leadership within the clinical team and be a nurse that leads by example and acts as a champion for resident’s safety and dignity.

To maintain skills and knowledge and be a champion for ensuring the team is fully up to date with best practice guidelines

Be a supportive mentor to the wider team in regards to upskilling non clinical staff and supporting new members of the team.

Ensure that clear and accurate records and communication systems relating to clinical and care delivery are maintained and effectively used

Act as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice

Skills and experiences

RGN or RMN is essential along with evidence of PREP (Post-registration Education & Practice). Experience of working with older people is required as are excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to plan, allocate and delegate work appropriately
