The Role

Free-thinking. Collaborative. Innovative. Kingston University is yours to achieve. And you will achieve in this role as you play a key part in our adult nursing team. It’s a chance to improve adult nursing practice, particularly in the area of nurse prescribing. Articulate and well respected, you will teach on programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, taking the lead on modules where appropriate . Alongside being involved in the pastoral care of students, you will be encouraged and supported to further your interests in research, enterprise or professional practice.

The Person

It’s likely that you have a proven track record of innovation in teaching backed up by a teaching qualification such as UKPSF 2 or PGCHE. You may, however, be a highly qualified and credible nurse practitioner actively involved in nurse prescribing keen to develop a career in higher education. You’ll definitely have a minimum of a Masters Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in the field of adult nursing or be working towards this and the V300 certificate together with the communication skills and confidence to inspire a diverse range of students and staff to exceed all expectations. And, above all, you will be developing a national reputation in the field of adult nursing and nurse prescribing.
