Research Nurses! Opportunity in research in Central London from Hays
Hays Healthcare can offer band 5/upper band 5 this exciting opportunity in Clinical Research. We need to recruit a nurse to work on a new cohort study investigating new diagnostic and predictive markers in Acute Coronary Syndromes. The study is collecting baseline health information and samples from people presenting to A&E departments in Central and West London. Participants will then be followed at regular intervals for several years, to determine final diagnosis and cardiac outcomes. The nurse's main responsibility will be to carry out the baseline clinical examinations according to standardised research protocols so as to ensure that complete high quality data are obtained on study participants, and then to contribute to the long-term follow-up of participants.
A Nurse that is experienced in research with GCP training is preferred. The nurse must have highly developed people skills, and accurate computer and data entry skills. You must also have up to date and verifiable phlebotomy skills and have high levels of attention to detail. The Nurse can work part time or full time and initial training is offered. Although the positions are temporary, it is understood that the nurses will be required to work for approximately 18 months, subject to consistent and high level performance.
