Medicor are pleased to consider applications for the position of Senior Sister / Charge Nurse for our private hospital clients Cancer Care service.

The successful candidate will be a NMC Registered General Nurse with significant post-registration experience.

You will need to have experience of Oncology settings and will have either an Oncology degree or ENB 237. You should have mentorship training also and experience of working to a minimum of Sister / Charge Nurse level. You should also have experience and training in Chemotherapy administration.

The client has a Chemotherapy Day Unit and does have some Oncology inpatients. Your role will be to lead the Cancer Care Service and provide clinical leadership to the team involved with the care of patients. It is expected that you will work Monday to Friday with some oncall commitment, that tends to be telephone advice, rather than going back to the hospital.

The hospital is part of a successful private healthcare company and has been recently refurbished. The Oncology service is already running and is successful with room for more development.

This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week. The hospital is in Surrey and is commutable from Guildford, Woking, Leatherhead, Weybridge and Peterfield.

Salary for this position is between £40,000 and £45,000 and is dependent on experience and suitability for the role. The client also offers an excellent benefits package.
