Regional Manager, Marie Curie Nursing Service
London & South East Divisional Region (Permanent)
£38,265 - £42,519 (plus London Weighting - £2,550), dependent on experience
An excellent and challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Nursing Manager to lead our Marie Curie Nursing Service team across this Divisional Region: this team provides highly respected end of life care to patients with life limiting conditions in their own homes, and patient’s families with the emotional support they need.
You will report directly to the ‘Divisional General Manager’, and will lead a highly professional team of ‘Clinical Nurse Managers’ providing clinical leadership and professional line management to ‘Registered Nurses’ and ‘Health Care Assistants’, working closely with ‘Multi-Disciplinary Teams’, ‘District Nursing Teams’, and with the ‘Marie Curie Referral Centre’ to excellent care delivery.
You will be qualified to degree level, have strong understanding of community working, and ideally of palliative and end of life care service provision, be able to lead by example, communicate effectively, build productive working relationship, and be committed to developing your staff and leveraging their knowledge and expertise. Experience of partnership working with NHS commissioning and of continuing service development would be highly beneficial.
Based at either Caterham or Albert Embankment, you will travel as necessary throughout the Divisional Region, and will also work closely with the ‘Marie Curie Hospice Manager (Hampstead)’ and the ‘Divisional Business & Service Development Manager’ to further develop the local service offering.
