PULSE is currently looking to recruit candidates at Senior Staff Nurse level and above (Registered Mental Health Nurses and/or Registered Learning Disability Nurses) for a leading and specialised secure unit hospital for children and adolescents.
 

The hospital provides a safe environment for the assessment, treatment and care of young people who have been detained under the Mental Health Act. Many patients present with complex illnesses that also present with abnormalities in physical and psychological functioning. Due to the variety of conditions the patient presents with the hospital offers a PICU and Forensic unit, Learning Disability Service and a 6 bedded acute service unit, in addition to recreational areas, school and IT facilities, Gym area, outside garden area and kitchen and laundry facilities.
 
We would be interested in hearing from any experienced adolescent candidates who want to join a progressive unit and  further develop thier career.

The successful candidates will be able to work collectively within a team, in addition to demonstrating effective communication skills and the ability to forward plan and work effectively under pressure.
