The Fountains is a 32 bed site, specialising in psychiatric rehabilitation for males aged 18 and over.
We are currently seeking a motivated individual to enhance our nursing team. Working with male patients, you will be encouraged to contribute to, and influence the development of active care. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you must be able to show initiative, demonstrating clear decision making and organisational skills. You will be responsible for the co-ordination, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individual patient programs of care. You will have a focus on risk assessment and risk assessment strategies, ensuring that the requirements of the care program approach are met.
Additionally you will support empowerment of the patients with particular regard to their dignity, rights and advice. Individuals should be fully conversant with the Mental Health Act and its recent updates; have an understanding of the latest nursing practices. Full induction training is given. You will also learn from some of the most dedicated and inspirational people in our profession and just like our service users you will be learning all the time through our on-going mentoring and support.
We are looking to recruit a dynamic individual to work with our patients at The Fountains. Applicants should have a positive outlook, be self-motivated and have the ability to work on their own initiative, although the team approach is essential.

Successful candidates will have to meet the person specification in order to be offered this post and have a valid NMC Pin Number.
