Successful candidates will have the opportunity of working with dynamic treatment approaches including dialectical and cognitive behavioural therapy approaches. The Women`s Service is a RAID centre of excellence, recognising our environment of positive engagement. You will find that the patients are involved in our comprehensive care pathways with full multi- disciplinary teams bringing a vast range of skills to our treatment programs. Because of the wealth and depth of experience able to be developed in the Women`s service it has a program of development for all staff that provides an excellent opportunity for progression.
Join our Women`s Service as a St Andrew`s Nurse and you`ll be responsible for assessing everyday care needs. Developing programmes of care, you`ll help to set the standard and raise the bar, acting as a mentor to junior nurses. As Senior Staff Nurse, you`ll also regularly take charge of a ward, not only planning workloads, but helping to bring in new nursing talent to the team.
We`re looking for:
- Qualified Nurses registered with NMC
- An understanding of how to improve quality of care
- Knowledge of how to develop yourself and others
- A honest, respectful and committed personality
- Problem-solving and decision making ability
- A highly organised approach to work
- Good communication skills and the ability to adapt to change
