Director (Nursing) - Infection Prevention Control & Staff Wellbeing - Permanent - Qatar - Salary up to £110,000 TAX FREE

Our client is a specialist hospital providing care for paediatric and women's treatment. They are currently seeking to employ a Director of Infection Prevention Control and Staff Well-Being.

The Director of Infection Prevention Control and Staff Well-Being has a pivotal role in the co-ordination and management of activities and resources of inpatient and outpatient areas for infection prevention and for the development and implementation of a comprehensive Staff Health and Well Being Service.

This person will work as a key member of the management team and will assume 24 hour accountability for overall management and delivery of Infection Prevention and Staff Well Being services to achieve optimal patient outcomes and staff Well Being and to meet the commissioning, service activation and ongoing operational needs.

The Director of Infection Prevention Control and Staff-Well Being is accountable to the Chief Nursing and Allied Health Officer ensuring that the standards for infection prevention and control practice are adhered to, and maintaining and sustaining comprehensive and continuous Staff Health and Well Being Services. In collaboration with other service areas this person will also ensure that recruiting, commissioning, on-boarding, orientation and service activation responsibilities are carried out in accordance with operational activities and timelines.

This hospital will open in early 2015 and the post holder will support all activities required to achieve a safe patient opening and establish operational integrity and performance.

Successful applicants must have the following:
Masters Degree in Nursing or a health related field, or Masters in Business Administration
Degree or Diploma in Nursing
Post graduate qualification in Infection Control and/or Occupational Health
Professional Licence as a Registered Nurse in country of origin
10 years of progressive management experience in Infection Control nursing management in an acute hospital setting in a North American Academic Institution or equivalent in UK, Ireland, Western Europe, South Africa, Australia or New Zealand
At least 2 years Director level experience in Infection Control/Occupational Health
Experience of handling large budgets
Ability to lead and manage diverse teams
