PULSE is working in partnership with a UK leading healthcare organisation to recruit Nurse Advisors.
Nurses will be working within a corporate office based setting in the heart of Manchester offering telephone based health and wellbeing support, advice and guidance.
We are very interested to hear from nurses with a minimum of 1 years post qualification experience and current NMC registration.
We welcome applications from nurses with experience in one or more of the following specialties:
- Obstetrics and Gynaecology
The Nurse Advisor will hold the clinical knowledgebase and experience in their allocated and chosen speciality as detailed above and would then case manage clients according to their requirements. The nurses will act as the clinical specialists assisting clients to make informed decisions regarding their health/treatments.
This could relate to:
- Providing treatment advice pre or post a confirmation of a diagnosis
- Referral advice and liaising with various Consultants, external organisations and GP’s
- Post treatment/surgery follow up
- Acting as a central contact point throughout a client’s treatment process.
This post is alongside a successful private organisation with a proven track record of high-quality and easy-access healthcare facilities and services. Therefore, we are searching for candidates that can provide an efficient service with a professional stance at all times. Corporate experience would be desirable but not essential.
As this position is telephone based, strong communication skills are a must. In addition to a clear and professional telephone manner. For applicants wanting to maintain up to date clinical skills, there are opportunities offered to work part time and remain part time within a clinical position or there could be a possibility throughout the year to work occasional shifts throughout the organisations clinical setting in other parts of their business.
The right applicant will be rewarded with a salary of between £27,000 - £32,000 per annum in addition to, a range of benefits including free gym, study leave and a generous holiday entitlement. Depending on which specialty the Nurse Advisor covers the majority of positions are to work Monday – Friday 8am – 8pm.
