King’s College Hospital is now recruiting nurses to be located at their new unit at Orpington

Hospital, Kent.

We are looking for Band 5 general nurses who are interested in developing a specialism in neurology or who already have experience in acute or neuro-rehabilitation. This is an exciting new role working for a world-famous hospital in a new purpose built neurology rehabilitation ward at Orpington Hospital. Orpington Hospital is situated in a pleasant, suburban environment and has excellent transport links including two nearby train stations, a frequent bus service and good access via the A21 and M25.

The role:

o You will be working on a 20 bed ward delivering neurology and neurological surgical post-acute rehabilitation for patients, working with the multi-disciplinary team to increase patients’ independence prior to discharge.

o Patients are at the heart of what we do – the focus of the role is to help support individuals to live as independent a life as possible.

o Our aim is to ensure that the local community have access to excellent healthcare as part of a high-quality healthcare system for Kent and south-east London.
